Business Manager:   John Friesen of Winnipeg brings over 20years of experience to the building industry and has garnered a solid reputation for paying attention to details and bringing the job together on time and on budget. John’s background is Electrical Technology and Business which gives him the credibility and knowledge required to provide the type of management you would want when constructing your next home or project. John is responsible for purchasing and organizing the trades required on the job site. Being able to maintain the same skilled trades people under his employ for as many years as the business has flourished is a testament to the integrity of his management and to the quality of workmanship you can expect.

Client Services:     Abbie Deacon is an exuberant Liaison, dedicated to excellence in her work of Client, Builder and Subtrade Relations and Communications ensuring a smooth construction process.   Abbie addresses all Client questions, concerns and comments.

Sales:     Abe Friesen has been with Dynasty Homes since its inception and was actively involved in all aspects of the business. His ability to understand the complexities of construction gives him an upper edge when it comes to planning the details and designing your new home. Abe’s ability in the consulting and purchasing phase is well recognized in the new home industry bringing back many repeat customers to Dynasty Homes. Abe is also a licensed realtor and alternate broker with Maximum Realty Ltd. of Winnipeg, MB.  

Sales:     Dan Thiessen joined the Dynasty Team in 1996. Dan’s ability to provide planning and design services compliments the Team approach of Dynasty Homes. Dan has a proven track record of providing a service that always goes beyond the clients expectations. He brings a refreshing common sense approach to the table and pays attention to every detail assuring that nothing is left to chance. Dan is also a licensed realtor and alternate broker with the firm of Coldwell Banker National Preferred of Winnipeg, MB.

Design and Planning




Dynasty by Design: Dynasty Homes has hundreds of plans to choose from and has the facilities of a third party engineering and drafting firm located at our offices. This allows us to provide in-house consultation, planning, design and drafting services with a prompt turn around time.

After approximately one year of "shopping" the custom homes market and viewing dozens of show homes, we selected Dynasty Homes to build our dream home in November of 2002. Our decision was based upon the quality of workmanship that we saw in Dynasty homes along with a sense that Dynasty staff would do anything and everything to make the building experience an enjoyable one.

Our introduction to the Dynasty "family" was courtesy of their New Home Consultant, Abbie Deacon. Abbie was an integral part in our decision to build with Dynasty and created the custom designed 1670 Sq.Ft. floor plan that we chose to build. With all of our concerns in mind, Abbie took an active role in the building process and provided advice and support on a daily basis. Whether it was by telephone, e-mail or personal visit, Abbie provided honest and timely answers to our many questions in a supportive and caring manner. Abbie's vibrant personality and unwavering professionalism make her a valuable asset for the Dynasty family and a true friend to all she meets.

Being first time home builders we closely monitored every step of the construction and were impressed with the various trades people that Dynasty hired. From framing to finish work, the contractors were very skilled, approachable and professional at all times.

Partners John and Willie Friesen were a pleasure to deal with over the course of the construction and were found to have high moral and ethical standards. Both John and Willie are not satisfied with anything less than perfection and this is evident with the finished product that they are responsible for.

Throughout our search for the perfect builder we heard numerous horror stories from couples who were thousands of dollars over budget and months behind schedule. At the conclusion of our new home construction we found ourselves on budget and moving into our dream home a week ahead of schedule.

Our decision to have Dynasty Homes build our new home was the best decision that we could have made and the end result surpassed our expectations in every aspect. We have had nothing but accolades from everyone who has seen our new home and we would proudly recommend the Dynasty "family" to any prospective new home builder.

Dear John and Willie;

Thank you for dispelling the myth about the building process and its association with stress! We enjoyed the entire process from our first meeting with you right through the finishing touches!

I’m remembering when we were first trying to sift through our choice of builder finalists. Truth is there were a few that we couldn’t decide between, and then we happened across you and almost immediately knew we wanted to put our Dream Home into the capable hands of the Dynasty Homes/Stratfield Properties Team. I admit we were also motivated by your quote, which was the most reasonable of all. I did do comparisons in the material choices to be sure there wasn’t a reason for your better pricing and in fact noticed that you were quoting on the same/similar and in some cases better materials and methods.

What set you apart in the early stages was your level of honesty and knowing that you can trust your builder is invaluable.You were the only one that took the chance and warned us about extra costs that could and probably would come into play over and above the quote on our plan. Piles, valued at thousands of dollars, come to mind. When other builders either never mentioned or said that we probably wouldn’t need piles, you said in fact that we probably would and that was knowing it was not what we wanted to hear! It turned out of course, that we built on piles.  Thanks to you, it was no surprise.

We know you’re very busy but not once did you make us feel that we were less than priority.  You always took the time to give us full answers to all of our questions, always offered valuable suggestions and always seemed to respect even my silliest ideas.

I’m especially amazed at the way my plan and even my bizarre ideas were indeed captured and produced to the very image I had in my mind. We appreciate that the very small couple of bloopers were both rectified calmly, quickly and very much in our favor.

The trades that you associate yourself with are masters in their field and it’s reflected all over our home. We are delighted with the bow tie finishing!

Of course, the fact that our possession date was met and we came in very close to budget is rather impressive too!

John and Willie and the entire Team at Dynasty Homes/Stratfield Properties, we sincerely thank you for surpassing our expectations and making this entire Dream Home Building Process an exciting and very fun time for us! We’d definitely do it all over again if we didn’t love our new home so much!
